How to Get to Taoyuan Campus

Choose the most convenient route based on your starting point

From Taipei: Taking the university shuttle is the most convenient option

If this is your first visit and you want to avoid transfers, it is recommended to use the university shuttle.
The university provides shuttle information at points such as “Taipei Campus / Jiantan MRT Station / Taipei Main Station / Huilong MRT Station,” with the Taoyuan Campus pick-up location marked as Information & Network Building (CC Building).

From Taoyuan Train Station: Take a city bus or follow the university’s shuttle information.

The university also provides shuttle/bus information for Taoyuan Campus ↔ Taoyuan Train Station (including meeting points and notes), ideal for visitors coming from Taoyuan City.

City Bus: Suitable for residents in Taoyuan, Guishan, or Huilong areas

The university has compiled city bus routes, including Taoyuan Bus 137, 261, 262, among others.

Check the “arrival time” using a real-time bus app before deciding which bus to take to avoid waiting in vain.

Driving / Motorbike: Plan for “Entrance → Parking → Walk to Meeting Point.”

Taoyuan Campus is large, and driving or riding a motorbike is usually straightforward, but first-time visitors may get confused about “where to go after parking.”
It is therefore recommended to set the meeting point as your target first, then follow on-campus signs to walk there.

First Stop After Getting Off

If you are attending an orientation, campus visit, interview, or need to meet someone, it is recommended to first arrange to meet at the location marked on the university map:

  • Social Sciences Building II / FinTech Building (S), 4th Floor  Meeting Place

  • Other common meeting places (Library Q Building, Design Building M, Tourism & Language Building P) are also marked and can be used according to event notices.

Why the “Meeting Place” is Recommended: It is clearly marked on the university map, making it the most convenient and friendly meeting point for new students and visitors.

First Time Visiting Campus

  1. First, make sure you are going to “Taoyuan Campus (Undergraduate Program)” and not Jihe Campus (Graduate Program).

  2. Shuttle/Transport – check the latest university announcements to avoid using outdated schedules.

  3. Save the “meeting point”: Building S (Social Sciences II / FinTech Building) 4F Meeting Place.

  4. For events or interviews, arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow time for walking and finding your way.

  5. If you will need department or course information, it is recommended to have the “event notice/registration info” ready for reference.
