  1. Registration procedures: New students are not required to report on campus in person. An official “New Student Admission Notice” will be mailed in early August 2025. Please complete registration according to the instructions provided. If you do not receive the notice, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs, Registrar Section at the Taipei Campus at (02) 2882-4564 ext. 2705, or the Academic Affairs Office at the Taoyuan Campus at (03) 350-7001 ext. 3107.
  2. Withdrawal of admission: Students who are placed and admitted obtain official admission status to the assigned department. Those who wish to withdraw must complete the online withdrawal declaration between June 12 and June 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., via the Admissions Committee website (https://www.cac.edu.tw/). Select “Application-Based Admission,” enter the “Online Withdrawal Declaration” system, choose “Admission Withdrawal Registration,” and complete the process by entering your personal identification number. Failure to complete this procedure will disqualify the applicant from participating in the same academic year’s University Placement Admission and the Joint Placement Admission for Four-Year and Two-Year Day Programs at Universities of Science and Technology.
  3. Once the withdrawal declaration has been completed, it cannot be revoked for any reason. Applicants are advised to make this decision with careful consideration.
  4. The unified placement results are based on the official announcement published on the University Admissions Committee website. Applicants may check the results at https://www.cac.edu.tw.
  5. For information regarding registration notices, dormitory lottery registration, and tuition and fees, please refer to the “Freshman / Freshman Zone” page at https://freshman.mcu.edu.tw/.
  6. To help new students gain a deeper understanding of the university, departmental development, and campus life, Ming Chuan University will hold New Student Welcome Sessions on August 24: in the morning at the Taipei Campus, in the afternoon at the Taoyuan Campus, and at the Kaohsiung Armed Forces Heroes Hall. Students are requested to register via the Ming Chuan University “Freshman Zone” webpage after July 15.
