Cross-Disciplinary Collaborative Innovation

Using design thinking and agile development methods, this approach integrates cross-domain knowledge in information fundamentals, financial analysis, technology and data, market media, and regulatory frameworks to enable effective communication, collaboration, and innovative synergy.

Learning by Doing & Practical Application

By emphasizing communication and collaboration, competition-based training, and a learn-and-apply approach, students actively participate in the end-to-end process of creating and implementing financial products and services.

Theory and Practice Integration

Experts with cross-disciplinary FinTech experience are carefully selected and invited to co-teach, guiding students from a broad practical perspective while incorporating and examining academic theories, ensuring a balanced approach that integrates both theory and practice.

What is FinTech?

FinTech = Financial + Technology: FinTech refers to the combination of traditional finance and modern technology. It uses software, IT, big data, blockchain, AI, and other tools to digitize and innovate services traditionally offered by banks or financial institutions — making financial services faster, more convenient, and more integrated into daily life.

  • Traditional services like banking, loans, payments, wealth management, and investments can now be accessed via mobile devices, websites, and apps thanks to FinTech.

  • The purpose of FinTech is to lower financial barriers, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance user experience, making it easier for more individuals and businesses to save, borrow, invest, pay, transfer, manage finances, and insure — no longer exclusive to banks or large institutions.

  • Moreover, with technological advances (big data, cloud computing, AI, blockchain) and increasing societal demand for financial innovation alongside regulatory oversight, FinTech has evolved into a key trend in modern finance. For young people interested in finance, technology, data analysis, and innovative applications, it is a cross-domain field with broad prospects.

FinTech is the combination of "Finance + Technology" — it reconstructs traditional, complex, and regulated financial services using technology and innovation, making finance more convenient, smarter, and inclusive, and ensuring that financial services are no longer exclusive to large institutions or banks.
